Goodbye to the Old & Hello to the New

UKWarforged goes from strength to strength, 4 years in the business and not a single price rise in that entire time. We've eaten increases in almost every aspect of this business, so we don't have to pass it on to you - and will continue to do so! This hobby is supposed to be a space to relax and unwind, and the last thing we want is to provide any extra pressure via price increases (unlike certain other miniature companies..). That's not to say we'll never raise prices, but we've held off for 4 years and will do so as long as possible. We exist to give people the chance to make their wargaming miniatures unique without having to sell a kidney, and our ever increasing ranges should help us to do this as we continue to grow.

Speaking of expanding ranges, I'm super happy to announce our partnership with a talented new sculptor, who will be specifically creating new designs to cover gaps in our existing ranges. Starting with jump packs, you'll very soon be seeing a new single and dual engine jump pack on the website, with chapter specific versions to follow. We're also looking at taking on the entire Ghamak range in the near future - and if you've never seen their work, take some time to have a look at their Myminfactory store and explore the 1400 sculpts for almost every fantasy and sci-fi army in existence.

Ramiel, by Ghamak.

We've spoken in the past about taking Atlan Forge's miniature range onto the website, but I think the team have decided that Ghamak just offers so much more variety that it's a no-brainer. At the same time, we will soon be calling time on the Across the Realms and Highlands Miniature ranges :/ As fantastic as they are, when we crunch the numbers their just isn't enough to justify keeping them alongside the massive Ghamak range - they will remain on the website until the end of July at which point they will be gone (I'll try and remember to add a 'last chance to buy!' banner to the website to remind everyone).

Finally, as much as I'd like to have something to blame with regards to the lack of printed product images, it's just a time thing. We still intend on getting every listing with a photo of the printed part, probably as part of a completed mini, our time is limited and with 1400+ items coming to the website in (hopefully) August you can see why we're struggling. To make up for it, we'll run a 10% discount weekend running from Friday afternoon to midnight on Sunday :)

Painting progress? Have you seen the UK weather at the moment, it's far too hot for painting! OK, I have a dozen minis or so primed black, that has to count for something.....
