Evening all, I know we've been a little quiet lately, but lots of work going on behind the scenes to keep building and improving the business. Running any business solo is hard work, and I've been mostly doing it alone since 2020, and the burnout's become more frequent every year. 2025 sees a change in that, as I take on an associate to help out with everything - this means that next year should see some major improvements, mostly things I've been intending to do for months now. Updated product images, redesigned website, all boring but helpful stuff. I also intend on posting painting progress (which I will now have time to do!) on our Instagram, which will also showcase a vast number of our bits in physical form. I have a half idea to make 2025 'The year of Badab' or something similar, as our Tortuga Bay license includes both excellent mk7 parts and Badab War chapter bits and kits - I'll say now though, I have almost zero intention of trying to paint Lamenters! We will also be picking up the Highlands Miniatures fantasy ranges again next year, and there will be semi frequent painting / hobby updates on that side on Insta and in our Discord. Skaven are up next and I can't wait!
Having a second pair of hands will also increase our turnaround for orders, which I know have been hit and miss the latter half of this year - burnout and family emergencies hopefully (!) now a thing of the past - and I pledge to improve this moving forward. We've also started replacing our stable of venerable mars printers with the vastly superior Elegoo Saturn 3's, which offer much better and faster prints, and we hope to have a full run of Saturn 3's up before summer. Hobby related products will also be popping up on the webstore during 2025, which I'm very excited for. We still intend on picking up DakkaDakkaStore's range next year, but as they have over 1000 full kits, each of which needs reducing to single items sets, there is no solid time scale on that endeavour. But I do firmly believe that, this time next year, we will be the premier bits and kits site on the web, and we look forward to seeing in the end of 2025 with you all.
